If you're afraid of AI, it's because you have no original ideas that can make you stand out over AI. Good artists will always be able to rise above AI, if you can't then you weren't good to begin with.
Also most so-called artists are really just people that draw fanart, which BTW is copyright infringement and shows that you are no better than AI yourselves and can't make a unique style to save your life.

The high art world is indifferent to this. They've already gone through the struggle sessions around what generates value in art and they've concluded difficulty and amount of effort doesn't really determine what makes good art.
