Idk if you've been paying attention but the default subreddits have basically melted into a formless mass.

This meme literally doesn't even fit into the format. Literally a not sequitur, like a shitlib tweet with the meme format tacked on like an afterthought. Not to mention it's like 4 months late. Literal brainworms. All of /r/popular is like this. Its been 2 months, they've gotta get sick of it eventually right?

I think most of Reddit's actual remaining users were pushed off the site by all the political astroturfing during the election. Now that it's over you only really have the bots and zealots left. The latter group are basically throwing a Reddit-wide tantrum over Trump/Musk and it's causing even more people to leave. Especially with all the violent rhetoric.

The "popular" subs are basically unusable now and the stock price is collapsing, I wonder if it's already in a death spiral.

Normies still use it. For the kind of normie lib boomer/millennial that watches cable or late night shows they're so used to this kind of ideological circlejerking that it doesn't faze them whatsoever. They don't even register it as propaganda anymore.
