I already posted this but yes the UK subreddit is defending this

The parents were previously banned from the premises. Allegedly, they opened 47 mail threads. Not 47 messages, 47 threads

As a teacher, I might teach 200 students. If all their parents start sending me regular emails, it would be impossible to manage.

The school banned them from communicating with them in any other way except email and then claimed that the volume of emails constituted harassment.
