Actually that's the tragedy of it. With jews you don't necessarily win. But the jews certainly do. This is the weak point of the Jewish people. That they are competent enough to uplift an entire region of the world, but their in-group bias is so strong that even at their best they are unable to ensure that the profits of their great works spread to the remaining population right outside their gates.
This is the very basis on which Hitler was able to genocide the jews and convince the German people to go along with it, the fact that the Jews were a knowledgeable enough people to always make more money and financially succeed, but this success never reached the German non-Jewish people themselves.
This made it easy to identify and condemn the fact that the Jew was a Jew first and a German second. Which is a terrible thing to be during times of national crisis, as it turns all the people against you with ease.
