I do have empathy for men, but like I said, do you not have anything else going on in your life?And ok, let's say you don't. Let's say you have no friends, no meaningful career etc, wouldn't it be a good idea to work on getting those first before you worry about getting a gf? (-27)

You don't, and it shows. You're right. It would. But this is where empathy comes in. You clearly have no understanding of the male experience or the issues that men are facing. Not being able to find a long-term partner IS downstream of all of the problems with all of the things you listed. All adults have trouble making friends. But it's even more of an issue for men. Many careers have been watered down and are basically jobs that don't pay well. Many jobs are also passing on men in favor of other applicants. Men are falling behind in education and employment. The data is there. You don't have to like men; I wouldn't judge you for not; I don't like them either. But it's not hard to find the information you need to understand. Men are struggling right now. And it's not just due to an inability or unwillingness to adapt. (35)

men have literally created this problem for themselves though and don't understand that. the vast majority of men who are suffering right now don't understand they're suffering because of patriarchy and not because of women. men get so mad when women are doing better than them because they've set themselves up to be expected to be "providers" but when a woman expects them to provide she's a gold digger. so many men genuinely hate women then get mad when they try to talk to a girl and she can tell he obviously has a huge disdain for women, then he gets mad she doesn't want to date him and then he hates women more. it's a nasty cycle. but men suffer under the patriarchy just like women do, you guys don't have relationships and friendships as close as women do and thus end up feeling really lonely without a romantic relationship. it sucks but it's not the fault of women like incels want it to be and it's actually terrifying for us out here (-11)

I'm tired of it happening in so many subs that don't revolve around dating, but I'm mainly disturbed by the demented comments in reply to these threads. "80% of women date 20% of men" (lolwhut), "Women don't date men under 6 feet" (just get out on the street and you'll see plenty short guys with wives), and so on. A lot of defeatist, self-pitying and often misogynistic incel shit.There's whole generations growing up getting their minds poisoned by this bullshit. I'm very glad the incel movement wasn't as widespread when I was fourteen, because being a bullied, lonely kid, I 100% would've fallen for it. (2)
