I don't have any ferret pictures so here are deer
Anyway I was at Petco for (reasons) last weekend and spent like 20 minutes playing with the ferrets
The girl there advised very strongly not to buy a ferret. They can get bitey, the house always smells like ferret, they chew everything. She says she's never buying a ferret again. Don't care about the biting, smell can presumably be addressed with essential oils, candles, Glade plug, whatever, I just won't have it near anything it shouldn't be chewing.
Convince me not to buy a ferret please.

Please buy a ferret. The drama meltdowns from owning one would be such good content.

I would truly hate carp if he posted about ditching an animal though. Would never upmarsey him again.

Yeah
hence this thread. I was this close to buying one this weekend despite what the girl said but I didn't want to have to be stuck with something maybe she was right about for years so I came here to make sure she was right
Now I will forever lead a sad ferretless existence bc I wouldn't want to do that to myself and getting rid of it would be a complete nonstarter
