I don't have any ferret pictures so here are deer
Anyway I was at Petco for (reasons) last weekend and spent like 20 minutes playing with the ferrets
The girl there advised very strongly not to buy a ferret. They can get bitey, the house always smells like ferret, they chew everything. She says she's never buying a ferret again. Don't care about the biting, smell can presumably be addressed with essential oils, candles, Glade plug, whatever, I just won't have it near anything it shouldn't be chewing.
Convince me not to buy a ferret please.

Even when de-scented they still have a strong smell. And they have very small brains and are basically r-slurred except for certain ferret tasks
