That wasn't printing, it was debt spending on poorly targeted stimulus.
Printing occurs when commercial debt is issued (banks invent new money to fund loans) or when the fed magic money in to the base (QE).
This is what base looks like over a few decades, Bernanke (PBUH) was the first chair to do QE.
With the exception of the 2020 round none of that escaped in to supply (was not inflationary). 2020 did escape a bit because the fed decided to purchase a bunch of corporate paper, it had a negatable effect on inflation though (mostly via labor push) and instead just resulted in all the buy-backs and acquisitions around rona. Powell is pretty r-slurred, they could have influenced corporate borrowing costs without giving an unneeded bailout.

The MBS program is fine, it doesn't escape base and simply forces banks in to higher yield capital which keeps credit costs low.
