Can someone teach me how to properly play blackjack?

I know in person is better but I only play Holdem/HORSE and baccarat at the casino. When I play online for Crypto I use the basic strategy/ charts with the 1-3-6-2 system but I never seem to get ahead at all even when super strict to the basic strat. Scammers always brag about card counting but it seems awfully complex if you’re not neurodivergent. Any advice?

You have to look at the rules. A blackjack payout worse than 3:2 makes it almost impossible to win even in the short term.
