Pro-legalisation of prosititution is pro-legalisation of the exploitation of women. There is no society in the world in which women with prospects and a decent alternative go into prostitution as a choice.
Legalised prostitution, especially in a country like the US, benefits only the men paying to frick them. There's barely any labour laws. They don't actually dislike capitalism because they like their comfy middle class lives, but saying that they like profiting off exploited workers is rather contradictory to their overall ideology of fighting for the powerless so they pretend to be anti-capitalism while at the same time not really being anti-capitalism. It's also why it's all so identity focused, because you can fight for the rights of X group and tell people you're making the world more equal while still keeping your your fancy car and big house.
Anything that looks like you're doing something but doesn't actually have an effect on your own position of power are the popular things. So for example everyone will comment on how terrible it is to outsource labour to third world countries and pay them all 50 cents a day, but there's never any real effort to change it because everyone likes their cheap clothes.
