It was narrated that โAbd-Allah ibn โAbbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: โI was shown Heck and I have never seen anything more terrifying than it. And I saw that the majority of its people are women.โ They said, โWhy, O Messenger of Allah?โ He said, โBecause of their ingratitude (kufr).โ It was said, โAre they ungrateful to Allah?โ He said, โThey are ungrateful to their companions (husbands) and ungrateful for good treatment. If you are kind to one of them for a lifetime then she sees one (undesirable) thing in you, she will say, โI have never had anything good from you.โโ (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 1052)
