Boondocks is american Black culture and is far from the degenerate japanese cartoons that are anime
I know of this because there used to be tv channel I used to watch as a kid. Among other things, it broadcasted some anime after I would return home from school. I to this day recall trying to watch this anime, but hating it because I had no idea what was going on and because the plot was bad. The theme song, however, stuck in my head and I also recall it to this day. At no point in my life, can it in Good Faith be argued that I have willingly watched and/or enjoyed anime.
