The Domain Name Service is a system that registers ownership of website names to people who lease them. A person who leases a domain from the DNS is able to attach an ip address or redirect address to a human readable name such as marsey.club. Owners of these domains will frequently need to change the underlying ip or redirect address under normal circumstances, at which point anyone who types in a domain will be directed to this new address. Usually this is used when you migrate a server or change hosting.
