I wonder if Furio ever got whacked it always bothered me how Tony just let that slide when you consider Furio and Carmella had their crush and that Furio tried to push Tony into a spinning propeller when he was drunk.

Historically, Carmine always said the Sopranos are nothing more than a glorified crew. Plain and simple.

I dunno, his cousin in Italy seemed to respect him enough to meet him alone and to give him "one of her best men" (Furio). And fricking around with any made guys wife, or making an attempt on any made guys life - capo or not - is a big fricking deal.
I guess at the end of the day Furio didn't frick anyone's wife and never killed Tony, he could just pass it all off as bad feelings.

Anyway, the girlboss wasn't related to him and gave him Furio so Tony would knock off a couple extra G's from the car deal they were discussing.
The Carmines weren't the only selling the DiMeos short either, the Italians were looking down upon them as soon as they met each other and the dynamic was in their favor, Tony and his guys really were just crooks for them.
Looking at their business ventures, it's mostly small time stuff and on every bigger venture (Vito, Ralph's, Carm's cousin) NY had to be cut in otherwise they were risking sanctions and/or war and seeing how the final few episodes turned out, they really were that easy to decapitate.
I spend every few evenings or so on the sopranos subreddit, it's one of the rare sane subreddits left where they btfo all reddit nonsense with extreme prejudice, they kinda turned my head around on how Tony is actually a medium sized fish in a small part of a large pond.
All that sub does and wants is to circlejerk and quote characters in peace, any wokey nonsense gets piled on by quotes and more quotes, every disagreement is fought with quotes where nothing is off the table.
It's literally this site but for a tv show, highly recommend.

It wasn't a bad movie but tonally totally different from the series and a lot of weird character choices as well.
