Why have they done this? Why take one of the most influential and interesting science fiction series ever written and cram it into a young adult novel framework. I'm actually seething right now.
I don't care that they made all the main characters black women. Honestly I think everyone being like a Southpark future 'goobacks' would have been even better but don't give a shit about that very much. But if you're literally incapable of writing flaws into characters played by black women then don't cast them. Shit is so obnoxious. At one point she literally lectures a bunch of presumably the smartest people Seldon can find to organize a galactic encyclopedia about their bigoted assumption of base ten. Having chosen ones in the foundation series proves the show creators didn't read of understand the series.

The Expanse? You mean baby's first scifi the Expanse? You mean steal a tired theme per book The Expanse? You mean John Snow goes to space The Expanse? You mean run out of money and do half a season in one room before getting canceled The Expanse?
The bar is so depressingly low for this to be the best sci-fi on tv in a decade.

The show had maybe three good episodes. Yes I hate everything.

I liked the religious stuff because they show that both sides are full of shitty people. I don't see how season 2 is a recon. They clearly show multiple ships leaving earth during the opener. And it's explained that humans have been going back and forth between both planets for a long time and the details of those trips have been turned into the Mithras religion.
I really liked it but to each their own. To me all babies look like Winston Churchill
