It’s true to an extent, races are real groupings if somewhat blurred—human perception of race doesn’t always follow that generic ancestry, though.

Look at how long Sean King has been allowed to say he’s a Black man and be taken seriously. Many Black people in the US wouldn’t be considered Black in Brazil.
