is divinity 2 that fun? i’m new to games and wanna play another single player rpg besides TW3 but i am only interested in games where the story is the main focus. like i’ve started a couple skyrim games before but never got more than halfway through because all the quest stories are dogshit. divinity 2 is one of the games i am considering trying

The story is the main focus. If you play on easy mode and do a majority of side quests you will have about 90 hours of story content. I remember the story being fairly good.

I'd really recommend the 3rd game on the list because the side characters were more fleshed out and the setting was more engaging. So even if the main narrative was slightly lacking the "overall" story was better.

Also the studio that made divinity 2 are releasing their next major title early 2023 (Baldur's Gate 3) and the people that made Wrath of the Righteous just announced another game, this time in the 40k universe.

Fricking heck, if the Divinity series' setting makes Golarian look good, I might have to give up on CRPGs. I've been chasing the high from the Shadowrun trilogy and VTMB/R for too long.
