My sister gave birth to her second child. My family is treating me like an immature Peter Pan
I'm so sick of my family.
My sister gave birth on August 2nd, and my family expect me to visit her as soon as I can, of course bringing gifts because who visits a mom of 2 not bringing gifts?
I'm currently saving every penny for a little holiday with my husband and don't have much money to spend on valid gifts, unless it's something really little and useless...
I still haven't visit her because I don't want to see her fiance, who is on paternity leave. I don't like him, he's super toxic and he's the main reason my sister got brain washed and had a second pregnancy. Plus, honesty: I don't want to be around the newborn because it grosses me out a little π€’lol poor baby...
I feel sorry for her. She is really struggling: can't sleep at night, the toddler is having the worst temper tantrum ever seen and she doesn't know how to handle it. She breastfeeds during the night of course, so she falls asleep at 7am and wakes up at noon.
A few days ago I texted my aunt (her mother) because my sister was in bad shape and needed help but would never say it out loud because pride. My aunt told me "you should understand these are the problems of a Mother. She will need our help, yours too, and you should get used to her needing help. This is what a Mother needs."
I was literally empathizing with her and not judging her, but I am treated as a little stupid child or teenager who doesn't know anything about the world yet...
I think is unfair. And I know I will be seen as the immature one for the rest of my life because of my choice.
I have a husband, a house and plans for my future.
My sister has 2 kids, no house, no job, a toxic partner.
As I mentioned in other posts here, she lives in his grandma's house...which is also so unfit for 2 kids... and still, I will be the immature one, the child. I just have to accept it and move on.

Im stupid i know, but somehow thats making sense of why its seen as a supremacist culture and not just giving equal voting registration rights for equal citizenships, they just dont want a group of people taking over the capitol without being charged for their obviously lawful justified actions against the very people who ruined your personal life with the ball rolling into an American deficit accordingly perpetual wars sending your children to die the same way we all go out cold and alone while theyre sipping fine wine dining on barely live cattle and fish, frogs and other species on the backs of those very childrens lives who sacrificed their poor blinded by the riches intentions.
