They:

• do not want to be your pet.

• will knock over all of your shit.

• are awake at times incompatible with humans (nocturnal).

• can give you a serious infection if they scratch you.

• WILL scratch you for no reason at any time.

• MIGHT allow you to pet them once every month, but will scratch you for no reason afterwards.

They are the lazy man's pet, and a bad one at that. Rats make far better pets than cats if you're so lazy you can't get a dog.

Dogs will:

• love you unconditionally.

• let you pet them whenever you want.

• never hurt you.

• protect you from intruders.

• devour the annoying neighbor's toddler.

• teach you to be more responsible, hold a better daily routine, and even get your fat butt some exercise.

• usually not break your shit.

Obviously there are poorly trained or aggressive dogs but even the most well-behaved cat will be aggressive.
