We were together for 3 years and broke up 3 years ago. It was a really good relationship and I was very happy with him throughout the whole thing, but we wanted two completely different things. He wanted things that people his age group wanted, and I wanted things that people my age group wanted. It was sad, but we had to break up.

He moved on and started dating his now-fiancee. We see each other once in a while because of our friends, but don't really make conversation. Around 3 months ago a mutual friend had a party and he was there without her and I decided to talk to him because he seemed down. He explained that him and his girlfriend (they were just dating at this time) had problems about cheating and had broken up.

After our friends party, we were still talking when we went back to my place. I didn't see it leading to s*x, but it did. We had s*x a total of 4 times. We were plastered the first time, sober the other times. It was in a span of a week. We didn't continue anything because the same reasons still stood. He wanted that white picket fence life and I didn't so we stopped before anything got serious.

Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick accused his White adoptive parents of perpetuating racism in their household in an interview with CBS' Adriana Diaz on Thursday.

"I know my parents loved me, but there were still very problematic things that I went through," the 35-year-old said.

"I think it was important to show that, no, this can happen in your home, and how you move forward collectively while addressing the racism that is being perpetuated."

Kaepernick revealed that when he had cornrows as a child, his mother said, "Your hair is not professional, you look like a little thug."

In the same interview, Kaepernick said he still has a desire to play football professionally.
