Whenever I find more time to play Vic III that's my goal. Map is missing the ethnically cleansed colony of Bongistan though. Managed to snag the concentration camp mod before it got banned from every mod host.
Idk, I got back to the states and saw an email that it had been released. I've put some hours into it, and I think most of the hate is from fans of other paradox map painters that didn't realize that it's primarily an economic game. The economic system plays much better than Vic II so far and has a lot more nuance. However, the diplomacy is underdeveloped, and warfare is way too abstracted and inscrutable. It's a typical paradox release, but as long as the player count stays decent, I'm fairly confident they'll iron out the secondary mechanics. The primary game mechanic, the economy, is strong and worth playing. I never play unmodded paradox games, so I don't really care much if the base game is lacking in some areas. Their engine makes it really easy for modders to fix the gaps.

South Africa was called dakshina kaalasthan in ancient Hindu texts, it is our clay and all men born on it are by default Indians
