UAV's do seem to be the future. Trust me I play a lot of Ace Combat. :marseybigbrain:

2035 seems pretty late for a fifth gen that's only comparable to a current F-35 or SU-57 or some such.

UAVs feel like they'd be a strength industrially, given labour etc is cheap. Some nice new factories. If Iran can do it...

Apparently chinx are replacing their soiboi soldiers in Ladakh with unmanned platforms. Small vehicles. A lot easier to move around in that terrain. I guess a war there will be hardcore man v machine. Govt is giving drone industry a bit of a boost hopefully we get proper returns.
