Classic case of Pahjeets thinking they can just get rid of one of the many gibs systems that their country is built on and have everything be okay. I guess it's easier to cope that most ruralcel farmers are super well-off instead of realizing the country never went through an industrial revolution so there's millions of people stuck as farmers in a horribly inefficient system. Ideally India would have a small group of farming corporations that work closely with the government but that requires the farmers being transitioned to actual jobs that aren't in the already bloated service sector.
Getting rid of the protections for farmers won't make em more productive or stimulate the economy. They'll just be even more reliant on gibs from other sources.
It does suck that most of the gibs will be siphoned by a small group of politicians and corporate types but that's the way it goes.

No shit dummy there's a small percentage of farmers that are well off and control a shit ton of land and power, who should be taxed. Doesn't change the fact that the vast majority of farmers are poor butt ruralcels who rely on gib systems like MSP to survive.
The 80 IQ online Pahjeetard take about most of the farmers being rich off the gibs from everyone else's taxes is cope. The truth is India has half their population stuck in rural backwaters with nothing to do except farm like r-slurs and unless there's a manufactuering boom that employs them in the next decade you'll have to pay their gibs or frick off as an NRI.

Most farmers don't get MSP even for MSP supported products.
Those are the ones producing actually marketable crops. MSP acquired crops are mostly fit as nothing more than animal feed. And richest farmers are ones who have their shit produce acquired at highest rates.

Hmmm then why is MSP even considered a problem in the first place? Wouldn't this mean that the farmers are not actually receiving gibs as a result of the MSP? Then aren't the majority of the urbanites Pahjeets seething over nothing?
Oh wait, that's right: the existence of the MSP is enough to force the value of crops up, even if they aren't sold at MSP. This is basic shit dawg, the existence of MSP artificially inflates the value of the crops that are being sold.
How many times do I have to explain it to your r-slurred butt: MSP is a gibs system. It exists because about half of India is made up of ruralcel farmers that don't have enough blue-collar jobs to go to instead. This is a form of ditch-digging work, where the actual value of the labor is next to nothing and the whole thing is meant to keep people employed and not causing unrest.
At least you acknowledged that most pahjeet farmers are not well-off because of the MSP system, since they don't get the full MSP value which mostly goes to a small subset of rich farmers.

I don't have a problem with actual subsistence farmers receiving aid, contrary to what I say most of the time I'm not completely heartless. But I do have a problem with a large class of farmers dotted across western India. The most drought prone districts in the whole country, Vidarbha, farms sugarcane. There's literally zero reason to do so. But MSP supports this r-sluration and thanks to globohomo biofuel nonsense they're able to combine raping the environment and our engines in a two for one deal. Wealthy Syrian Christians in Kerala vote on basis of MSP for rubber plantations. These people made fortunes back when synthetic rubber wasn't a thing but they haven't had enough. And there are communities like this across the length and breadth of the country. Most farmers aren't rich. But if we tallied up those who are they probably wouldn't be inferior in numbers to the professional middle class. They should be taxed equally.
