Everytime I enter REM state during sleep
I experience nightmares and immediately wake up. So despite
sleeping
8 hours with excellent
deep sleep
which allows me to recover physically, mentally
I feel like worse waking up than going
to sleep.
Only cope thus far has been dude weeding it up before going
to sleep
cause I usually don't dream when I do that. Any other suggestions how I keep myself
from bullying me in my head every night?

Find a therapist who specializes in EMDR, it will help you get over whatever is waking you up and help you learn how to simulate REM sleep
