Before anyone asks, no, Brazil is not some nightmarish hellhoe but a functional albeit flawed developing country. There's pretty much no decent pay-off for a macaco to move illegally to the US, it's way to far away and anyone with money to spend through those insane travels can afford a dignified lifestyle, hence why the number of !macacos in the US is quite small relative to other Latinx and Brazil's population.
