With games I barely remember the plot after I'm done with them. What usually sticks in my mind are the locations you explore or events that happen naturally during gameplay, like when you have a clutch boss fight or clear a dungeon while half your party is dead. Anything you might tell to someone as an anecdote. Game designers have been getting too uppity with the whole "games are hecking art
" so they think every game needs some boring butt plot that keeps taking you out of the game.

Yea like if you make something for g*mers, literal slop enjoyers, theyll be fine with bad writing, mtx, not getting to play the game for most of its two hour runtime, it playing like a generic TPS and it having no actual artstyle so long as it still plays like the first game.
