I expected this would be one where they captured a French ship, used it for many years, and then named more ships after it. Like Temeraire or Belliqueux. (WTF does that even mean?) Turns out I was wrong. Then I remember the word had a different meaning in English too back then. Hence "Ivan the Terrible" actually being a compliment.
