ive travelled across europe from greece to the uk and everywhere inbetween, in any country i went me and my family felt safe handing a phone to a stranger to ask for a picture, and never had it stolen

Sometimes when I'm out with my camera people ask me to take a picture for them with their phones, which I'm happy to do.
So yea protip if you want to steal phones just walk around with a camera and people will literally give their phone to you

I've had hundreds of people ask me to take pictures for them lol why do Euros think regular interactions are reserved for their yt brotherhood? I guess I wouldn't hand my phone to certain types for that fear too but you can easily those types by how they look. And I'm not really sure my prejudice is justified in even majority of those cases, I've had people like that act surprisingly nice to me when they gained nothing by doing so. Its just my classism.
