I'm sorry but wtf drugs are these people on? Fruit and vegetables fresh or frozen are cheap af. Yeah you might want to skip the avocados or fresh asparagus when its not in season.
Rice is cheap af, beans whether dried or canned are cheap af, bricks of ramen while shitty are like 28 cents each. Pork chops are cheap af. Dark meat chicken again cheap af. And how much junk food do you need to have on hand? I buy a large tub of Tillamook ice cream and its lasts like 2 months.

It's because they actually have no second order thinking. A pound of potatoes being a few dollars costs more then a 99 cent candy bar ignoring the fact the potatoes will feed you for two weeks and the candy bar won't even feed you for two hours
