Check out Miranda (British comedy — really tall woman) and Johnathan Creek season 2. Also, don't forget the Vicar of Dibly. She didn't find love, but she was a confident plus sized lady.

Miranda is just really freakishly tall and disproportional where a solid chunk of the humour is watching her be a lanky neurodivergent freak. I don't know who the fat love interest is supposed to be in Jonathon Creek S2, yeah Caroline Quentin gets old and frumpy eventually but she's not fat in Jonathon Creek? Vicar of Dibley is another one where part of the humour is laughing at the fat loser. /u/Tricky-Piece8005 could at least have chosen something like Gavin and Stacey where the two fats get with people and then each other (because they wrote it) but instead she just projects into freaks you laugh at.
