I used to be fat. I'm technically still 5 lbs overweight, but I've already lost 30 lbs and am working on losing the rest. And you know what being overweight has taught me? That people who dislike being fat but don't do anything about it deserve a lot less sympathy. It's not super hard to lose weight. All it takes is diet, exercise, and willpower. I've literally lost 15 lbs just from quitting recreational drinking. So anybody who tells you that eating unhealthy is an addiction or makes excuses for why they can't do some pushups or situps once in a while really is lying both to you and themselves.
