I'm not asking for honesty from politicians. Just regular conservatives. Stop pretending you care about fetuses. Just say that you want women having premarital s*x punished, and that you view the infant as one kind of punishment.

I unno, most of the cons I've talked to about it view it more as cause and effect more than a punishment thing, though none of them are explicitly against birth control. I think that's a more niche thing.

Even then with birth control it just lowers the chance. Why do something that can potentially result in a kid with someone it you're not willing to have the kid? Killing the kid isn't the solution in their pov
