So they are literally friends with benefits and she does not want a long term relationship but is mad they he isn't focusing solely on her despite her not wanting a long term relationship? I don't blame the guy in that situation there's no reason to invest in that relationship at the end of the day.

I was also telling him how insane the idea of really long situationships was to me because it just feels uncertain and awful.
Yeah I read that part wrong and thought she said relationship instead of "situationship". I realize that she does not like the idea of friends with benefits being all they have and she wants to actually be with him.
