Food desert means the only stores close to them are fast food or convenience stores. At best the convenience store might stock some vegetables and fruit, but it will be very overpriced.

Remember the triple crunchwrap. The $5 box for it was insane, it was like a crunchwrap, taco, chalupa, and drink. One of the only times I almost felt like I couldn't finish the meal because it was too much food.
