I think I've realized most restaurants are a scam. It makes sense to buy cheap food (fast food, bars), or very expensive food but most everything is just the same SYSCO slop made by high schoolers or addicts

Frick me I once got trapped at one of those elite money grabs, and I swear to god each of the like 10 tiny courses was some sort of flavored foam. At the very end I thought they gave me a cake pop, and I was so excited to bite into it and have solid food…only to discover, yes, it was also foam.
Because ten foam samplings isn't exactly filling, I got McDonalds on the way back—then ended up throwing up from combining a cheeseburger with 20 types of flavored foam.

Food gets increasingly more r-slurred as it gets more expensive. When the food starts to arrive tiny on a big plate you know you're being fricked.
