My crumble keeps coming out a bit powdery, do I need to add more fat or am I rubbing it in too much?

Baking rly isn't my forte but it could be too little fat (r u using butter?) but also undermixing. U shouldn't have any dry flour pockets left. Is your fat solid when you mix it in?

Are there pockets of raw flour? Visible butter?

Not that I can see. It just doesn't seem to cohere in the oven if that makes sense - like there's no contiguous crust, just cooked floury stuff.

You should have soft lumps after mixing, maybe your recipe is just shit? Are you using brown sugar?
