Subject to the provisions of section 2 of this order, and to the limitations set forth in the Act, the following officials of the Department of Justice, in the order listed, shall act as and perform the functions and duties of the office of Attorney General during any period in which the Attorney General, the Deputy Attorney General, the Associate Attorney General, and any officers designated by the Attorney General pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 508 to act as Attorney General have died, resigned, or otherwise become unable to perform the functions and duties of the office of Attorney General, until such time as at least one of the officers mentioned above is able to perform the functions and duties of that office:

(a) United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York;

(b) United States Attorney for the District of Arizona;

(c) United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois; and

(d) United States Attorney for the District of Hawaii.

This one changes the order of succession in the DoJ and revokes Trump's version from 2017. It basically says if the AG, DAG, AAG etc are unable to perform their duties for whatever reason, they'll be replaced by the US Attorneys of S. NY, AZ, N. IL and HI. Those attorneys are all from Blue states/appointed by Biden, so nothing to see there, but what's notable is he did this yesterday. (For comparison, Trump did it in March 2017).

So, assuming the orange buffoon will revoke it in 2 weeks (if he gets inaugurated), why would Biden bother changing the order of succession in the DoJ now?

This is what I believe in. Because otherwise, NOTHING they've been doing makes ANY SENSE whatsoever.

Why give Liz Cheney a medal when that would be one more thing for Donald to feel pissed about. A medal doesn't protect her if he gets into the white house and becomes a dictator, as he promised. If he becomes a dictator, the constitution already means NOTHING...those executive orders won't mean a thing either!

I mean, Biden and Kamala are way smarter than most of us. Their trustworthy team is likely way more intelligent than us. They must know the Constitution and the rule of law will be finished the minute he walks in = America becomes an oligarchy. I mean, come on!
