What's the deal with this movie? I thought it was a joke but now I'm seeing a bunch of r-slurred sites like IGN and Rolling Stone saying that it's good actually. I didn't look very hard but I can't even find any discussion about it on reddit.

I could have sworn this was a (intentional?) misunderstanding by the s, and that some interview clarified that he's not a gender goblin, that it was meant in a cool David Bowie way.
