event horizon was alright, i heard it from redditors who (in typical fashion) told me it was way more terrifying than it was. It was just an alright way to spend 2 hours.

I love Event Horizon but I wouldn't say that it's terrifying. I find that space can be a really good setting for a horror movie (Alien obviously) but there just aren't too many of those movies out there. And most of them are garbage.
Ravenous strikes me as a proto-vampire type flick with a wild west flavor. Predestination was better than I expected before watching. It's one of those movies where the final act makes sense of everything that happened before but it's not done lazily like "here's some jumbled garbage and now the last 5 minutes puts everything into place".
