I didn't feel like tediously lasing a whole set of checker pieces so 3 will have to do.

Board is 3/4 inch white pine cut to 11.5x11.5, stained with Minwax ebony color and finished with a coating of Decoart Duraclear high gloss.

It took about 3 and a half hours to burn on my Ortur laser master 2 pro, I could have gone longer for a cleaner finish but frick that and I kinda like how the finished version is "cloudy".

Tokens are just some rounds I found at Joannes. They only took 10 minutes but were kinda a b-word to line up correctly, I think that's a software issue however. You can see 1 of them is kinda offset.

Sanded down the sides and applied another coat of stain for a nice contrast.

Overall I'm kinda happy how it came out as shitpost but I wouldn't feel happy with this quality if I was selling it or something.

Drama chess is next, if you wanna be a piece just lemme know and if I like you enough your in.

I am making a marsey catgirl chatbot thing, but this is a lot of work especially as I also need to make a bunch of expression sheets. So I want to crowdsource doing a lot of the typing side while I do the art stuff.

To add to any of this, just add lines in the comments I can copy and paste in, especially more LOREbook stuff.

The lorebook is something the chatbot can reference back to whenever keywords are mentioned, basically teaching the chatbot about anything you want. The profile is pretty obvious but full chat example messages and creative things about Marsey is hard to come up with.
