Contender for the ugliest thing I've ever drawn, this Carpsey is an old thing I had planned since the first time Carp abandoned us. I couldn't get it to look decent back then, now I just don't care.

You can never know when the janny fish will leave us again, so here's a proper replacement. Do keep in mind that the Replacement Carp cannot pin its posts, notify you of its posts, or post at all!

Some might call that an upgrade but regardless, the shoddiness will sure make it seen like the real Carp has never left at all!

I made a version with more saturated colors. Which one do you prefer?

I would've finished this sooner if god hadn't tried to screw me over, it seems he has taken a liking to trying to kill me every October.

Unfortunately for him and everyone else, I'm still alive, so here's your Halloween Marsey, which I made solely for the badge, I don't give a single frick about any of you.

I didn't feel like tediously lasing a whole set of checker pieces so 3 will have to do.

Board is 3/4 inch white pine cut to 11.5x11.5, stained with Minwax ebony color and finished with a coating of Decoart Duraclear high gloss.

It took about 3 and a half hours to burn on my Ortur laser master 2 pro, I could have gone longer for a cleaner finish but frick that and I kinda like how the finished version is "cloudy".

Tokens are just some rounds I found at Joannes. They only took 10 minutes but were kinda a b-word to line up correctly, I think that's a software issue however. You can see 1 of them is kinda offset.

Sanded down the sides and applied another coat of stain for a nice contrast.

Overall I'm kinda happy how it came out as shitpost but I wouldn't feel happy with this quality if I was selling it or something.

Drama chess is next, if you wanna be a piece just lemme know and if I like you enough your in.
