yeah idk why they were ever treated like the sole identity of people when its some string of a few numbers, half of which are birthdate related. Probably should have just given passports or something at birth, which aren't "full" since there isn't a photo and once you're like 18 you need a photo

Don't forget, experian was hacked sept 2015 that not just leaked everyones SSN but credit records, names address...
or the big breach in 2017 for equifax...
Equifax discovered the breach at the end of July but did not disclose it to the public until September 2017.
All of our shit unhashed because their cybersecurity chief previous job was a music teacher btw...
