One time my bro and I are waiting to meet this girl. He tells me to make sure I don't say anything about r*pe, because she got r*ped and it was really tragic and we don't want to remind her of that. Sounds easy enough. I'm not in the habit of making r*pe jokes anyway, so it should be easy enough for me to just act like I always do, right?
For the next half hour we're waiting there for her, just trying not to think about r*pe. And we found it impossible to say more than a few sentences before coming up with a new really funny r*pe joke. At least we got it out of our system before she arrived.
I am not sure it is surprising at this point a post promoting a positive community would be reported 10 times for "threatening violence", "breaching civil discourse", and other assorted reasons.
