That second picture is a Carolina Chickadee (edit: wrong, cheeks and bib contrast is too great) and the fourth picture is of a female Eastern Bluebird (much duller colours than their male counterparts) btw.
Does your male cardinal have a female counterpart that follows it? A cardinal couple can be fun to watch interact with each other.

You're right, it's a Black-capped Chickadee, contrast between the cheeks and bib is too great to be a Carolina Chickadee.
