Why do people think Google won't change the terms and conditions randomly to screw them over? Remember when suddenly "oops we won't pay if there's a swear word in the first 60 seconds"

This literally just happened for YouTube shorts. You used to be able to effectively monetized views twice by using music you get royalties from and then cut music pay by like 80% starting March 1st.
It's also sort of ish happening with longform. The meta has been to place ads manually every minute but YouTube just rolled out AI detection that invalidates manually placed midrolls if the AI thinks they are disruptive. I don't think that full goes into effect for a while but people I know are freaking over it lol.
