I'm drunk-ish at a bar 10 miles from my home. I rode a fixed gear bike here and my front brake isn't working great. I do have clipless pedals, but I'm bad at skidding. Am I going to make it home without falling?

Idk what's wrong with the brake. The cable regulator slipped on the way here, I stopped and fixed it, and by the time I arrived it was slack again.

Also I have my computer bag in a basket on a front rack, so my center of gravity is wonky.

Update: No falls takes it :marseybike:

I think I hate this bike though, hmu if you want to buy a 46(?)cm Mercier Kilo.

I'm not a complete r-slur and straps seem unnecessarily dangerous. I do have a cheap set of flats and straps to put on before I sell it tho

Fixed gear means he is a strag who only rides on roads. No gears means stopping cycling is the same thing as braking. As well as being straggy they are also crazy dangerous.

Clips are what physics chads use when cycling as you pull the pedals up as well as push them down. Real men sound like horses when they get off their bikes from cleats on sidewalk.

There no evidence proving that clips have any significant benefits over flats
