this criticism also applies to
democratic 
management of the means of production. imagine the things the average leftist (re:what is your job in the commune) would vote to produce. even leaving aside the issues of democratically directed production of goods with long supply chains, minimum order quantities of component parts, technologically advanced and resource-intensive manufacturing requirements, etc. this system sounds r-slurred. you want a strong military
