I don't see myself as that socially conservative. But all the questions were hot-button... s in foid sports, Australia Day, abo flags, equity quotas for undeserving women.
My opinions were mainstream lib-left in the 1990s, but they're suddenly polarising in Current Year + 9.
And there were no questions about supposedly progressive ideals like free speech, gay rights, equal opportunity... things I am on-board with.
That's the big problem. You're either against all of it or for so much of it that it's basically the same as 100% support. It barely swings the needle, unless you're for the Greens.
My positions should be centre-left, but any version of left is so insane about trains, the Voice-type topics, immigration and even Palestine that you're now considered Nazi-level if you haven't been dragged with them to their extremes.
I'm like a lot of people, someone who wanted things to go more left and then they went far, far past where I thought was appropriate. I'm not a nihilist or an accelerationist, but I've completely gone frick it and want the people (and type of people) who have caused so much heck and havoc, in ways that have permanently affected my life, to deal with some of the pain they claim to live in, let alone what they've wished on others.
To be sickeningly honest, I actually have empathy, and the people pretending to have it to fuel their hatred of the other are people I despise far more than those who are at least honest about it, and often end up being far more tolerant. You might only be 'one of the good ones', but at least they acknowledge there are good ones.
Also, if you can't say your most dramatic things here, where else can you.
Ubiecute/twink It's okay, bb. It's only the internet.

Left-wing economic types have no principles. You should realize this too. Ask them how much welfare is enough. They can never answer, so you know it'll keep trending to more and more and more until you're paying 3/4 of your income in taxes.
I know, they're all 'throw money at the problem' and get angry if you want there to be positive results, not just feeling good about it. They don't want realistic solutions to many issues, they want to pretend they're helping and blame the lack of money if it doesn't.
Which again, generally leaves one politically homeless, because the other parties aren't really focused on solutions either, they just think cutting funding helps. It should be about trying to get the funding to where it's most realistically useful, but no one seems to care about actual solutions, just how much the falling current stopgap measures cost.

That's what prices do. They tell suppliers and demander what is most valued, where, and by how much (over time). Government and, to a lesser degree, non-profits don't really have this advantage, so there's always going to be waste (unintentionally) and waste for its own sake (self-enrichment, mission creep).
PTSDthey/them
I thought wow women sure have regressed since we stopped hitting them.

the left became gay shit drop that focus on less migration and solving the housing crisis and labour might just sweep the floor if they could hold off backstabbing a PM.
god i miss k rudd i would go straight if he promised he would return to save us
All Green parties worldwide took the environment and put it a distant third behind s and socialism, to the point they don't even support environmental issues if they don't come with 'social reforms'.
So if you don't believe in idpol or equity, you're shit out of luck.
IMO the trajectory with immigration, race politics, gender politics and LGTV have put us way beyond that. I think only a hard right swerve can save us now.
I sadly agree, because nothing seems to discourage all the rest of it. s are still 100% supported while claiming they're victims, land acknowledgements are everpresent while both hypocritical and pure racist virtue signalling.
The closest thing to progress is that the multicultural couples in ads are closer to the actual racial makeup of Australia than the American 'random blacks' for the last few years. The melting pot is out the window, and 'Indigenous ways of knowing' are bringing religion back into science class but from an idpol leftist perspective. In his ham-fisted, carelessly illegal way, Trump is dismantling those sorts of problems, and Australia needs a similar deep cleanse, an attempt to tear some of these things out at the root.
There's not really any party for the disaffected. Anywhere.

Been doing that already.
I probably voted similarly on social issues but I ranked higher on the social issues axis.
Well, it is named a vote compass, not a political compass.
