It's fricked-up enough to treat people like they're somehow wiser or have more moral authority because they happened to be the victim of a crime. But now it's... happening to be in the same building as a crime? There's a heck of a lot of people who've actually really witnessed a murder and somehow nobody is beating on our doors asking for our special insights and begging us to run for congress.

The real story is probably that the kid had political aspirations anyways due to his father's role in government. The shooting gave him a nice little tee to kick off from and that's about it
There's legitimately no reason for this kid to be a cia plant because hes so phenomenally damaging to their brand every time he opens his mouth, I can't imagine a scenario where they actually want him as a talking head

What in the frick does that have to do with teachers' unions? In Oregon we're near the top in spending per student and our test scores are in the 40s around Alabama.
If you haven't lived in one of these blue one party states you might not get it: Education is really really really bad here.

To be honest, any situation, any big event that happens, you're gonna have people come out of the woodwork to try to take advantage and capitalize on it. Even happens in the military. It's not as common because, you know, you have to risk your lives and somebody isn't, you know, usually willing to go to Fallujah just for bragging rights unless they're absolutely fricking insane.
But you still got guys like Tim Kennedy,, with his fricking hundreds of grenades and big butt mouth.
I don't think Hogg's necessarily any worse than any other young politician because they're all pretty disgusting and deserve to be flogged publically.
Honestly, I don't think young people should be politicians. I think should be at least like, at least 35-40. I mean, get some fricking life experience first, man. Do something. Being a politician is not experience. Being a politician is just being a fricking suck-butt. Anyway, what feels wrong about Hogg is that not only does he try to take advantage of a very tragic situation, he did it almost immediately afterwards. I understand talking about your emotions or like how you feel, but he spun this shit into a career Is that right or wrong? I don't know. I mean, he was in a school shooting. I guess he should be able to grab that bag, I guess. But, it just feels fricking weird. Like, why do you want to be a politician, dude?
