Disagree on this one. Teflon is like the definition of inert, literally fine with acids used to etch glass. Just the production is nasty. The biggest problem I see with nonsticks is that they're almost all cheap butt aluminum pans that can't hold heat for shit. Buy iron or steel, people!

I'm with you. Years ago I had one and would eat shit like stouffers that had the plastic film over the top.
You could just tell from common sense that this was happening, because after you microwaved it the film on the top would seem flimsier, like it was thinner.
Microwaves are probably fine if you put stuff in there without anything or like, you stick a piece of pizza on a paper towel or something.. But Idk.
They sort of just weird me out so I never bought one again after I moved. Also just not really a big fan of how microwaves heat stuff inconsistently and with stuff like pizza they make it super rubbery.
